
I have shown the uninstallation process for Macbook M1 which is silicon based system. Though the steps would be same for Intel based system and Macbook M2 also.
The same process can be used for any version of Java.
I have covered the steps even if there are multiple versions of Java are installed in the system.
Commands to Uninstall and remove Java completely:
Step1:
First remove all the folders completely present inside /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines folder using following command:
sudo rm -rf {foldername}
Step 2: Then run the following command as shown in the video.
sudo rm -rf /Library/PreferencePanes/JavaControlPanel.prefPane
sudo rm -rf /Library/Internet// Plug-Ins/JavaAppletPlugin.plugin
sudo rm -rf /Library/Application// Support/Oracle/Java
